-Motivating pupils in maths can sometimes be a challenge, but if students are shown some magical, simple tricks (or processes), then their enjoyment of the subject can be enhanced. In this TED-Ed video, for example, Gaurav Tekriwal highlights some simples processes that can be used when multiplying, even helping with a visualisation process that could support mental maths. Pupils have really enjoyed this video, and many other Vedic Maths strategies can certainly support the less-confident with their abilities.
