Why are teachers so….Autocomplete reveals all!

Autocompleting can be useful when searching on the internet, but can also be very revealing. So what does autocomplete tell us about teachers from the top two engines currently available? It appears that views on teachers are not favourable.

The autocomplete via Google tells us that teachers are so mean, annoying or rude…

Whereas the same request from Bing tells us teachers are annoying, boring or mean!


Our scientific analysis* of the results reveals that teachers are generally mean and annoying and that these searches are mainly completed by pupils or head-teachers.


Reassuringly, a quick change of the wording, and suddenly the autocomplete reveals:

Why teachers are so important.

Let's celebrate that.
