The site uses a combination of Google Earth and SoundCloud to bring a fantastic collection of sounds of nature from around the world. Listen to the early morning at Loch Urr in Scotland; the Yosemite dawn chorus in western USA; Indian woodland birdsong; the sounds of Post Office Bay in New Zealand, or a plethora of other sounds from nature, including some great ocean creatures and the mesmerising sounds they make. This is a fantastic, free resource which could be used in the classroom when exploring animals, natural sciences, environmental issues – or simply as a listening exercise.
