Activity: 3D Dragon Illusion

A fun 3D Dragon template has been released by eChalk, in time for St. David’s Day 2014 (Saturday, March 1, 2014) allowing pupils to create their own “Dewi the Dragon” character, who eerily follows your every move as you walk around the room! The resource includes two templates: one fully coloured, ready to cut out; and the other which allows pupils to ‘personalise’ their own dragon.

The cutting process may require that younger pupils will need support for precision, but the final effect is certainly worth the effort, as demonstrated by the video below…
