-The BBC is reporting on a story where a female teacher has been suspended in Somerset (England) for allegedly placing sellotape over noisy pupils to stop noise levels getting too high.
Parents have told the BBC that a teacher at Danesfield School in Williton, Somerset, said the pupils were being too noisy. The police have investigated, but are taking no further action. The school said it was “thoroughly investigating” and that “a member of staff has been suspended whilst the investigation continues”.
Danesfield School converted to an academy at the beginning of the month.
