Google Science Fair 2014 is now open to students aged 13-18 from around the world to use their interests and talents to explore an area of science that they’re passionate about – and be in with a chance of winning life-changing prizes.
Students can use the Idea Springboard to help kickstart their project ideas by combining what they love, what they’re good at and what they want to explore.
Visit the For Teachers section of the website to access lesson plans and resources to help your students learn about the process of working scientifically.
Google suggests that each project should be “an in-depth investigation of a science question or engineering problem” but otherwise, it’s up to students to pick and develop an idea that follows the competition rules.
Students will need to register at www.googlesciencefair.com and submit their project before 12 May.
