BoximizeIcon76x76Keeping yourself organised is one key element of being an educator, as assessments, student progress, classroom management, or attending meetings can divert attention from other matters which soon cluttered or confused. You need some sort of personal database that can help you keep organised with all the different factors going on in your life, with Boximize for iPad or iPhone now coming to the rescue to help you keep on top of all the different properties that need organisation! This really useful app helps your information become sortable, searchable and more organised, bringing the power of personal databases to your notes.

iOS Simulator Screen shot Apr 23, 2014, 6.18.47 PMWith a beautifully constructed interface, Boximize can easily help you starting to categorise, with 27 ready to use collections, although it is very easy to start your own collections allowing you to search and sort your data in an intuitive approach which allows quick access to the information you need.

Primarily, this is a productivity app, but there are opportunities for the app to be used in education as the database element can help pupils compiling research, categorising data, and building powerful collections of information. The app is currently limited in that there is no clear way to share the information, with the data staying stored only on the device, however future updates may see this feature being introduced. Presenting the information collected would need to stay on the device, but this app is a great introduction to databases, especially for teachers who want to introduce the concepts on an iPad.

Currently priced at £1.49*, Boximize is available from the Apple App Store by clicking the icon below.
