Resource: What’s Wrong With #LikeAGirl?

Challenging the notion that being  “like a girl” is a defamatory term, a film-maker has created a thought-provoking piece which celebrates females for what they are and an expression of strength.

Directed by Laura Green, and supported by Always Feminine Products,  the aim of the campaign is to, “… make sure that girls everywhere keep their confidence throughout puberty and beyond, and making a start by showing them that doing it #LikeAGirl is an awesome thing.”

This is a great video to share with pupils, especially for sex education, PSHE or citizenship learning as it challenges some of the language used in society as well as empowering what it actually means to be #likeagirl.
