Activity: Having fun with Punctuation

We all know that teaching Punctuation is an essential yet challenging part of the school day (for students and teachers). But, if the task of teaching and learning punctuation is becoming monotonous, just think, it could have been a lot worse. As a fun activity, to get away from the daily chore, take a look at these 13 little known Punctuation marks we could have been using. Challenge pupils to use them, or to create sentences for their use. This can also help pupils to think about how we do use punctuation and the modern alternatives we (should) use in our writing today. The chart also includes HTML, Word and Unicodes if you are wanting to be more adventurous!
