HistorySSFeatureUKEdChat this evening focused on all things History, as Alex Fairlamb & Danielle Manning co-hosted our History Subject Special. The session was aimed at teachers who teach the subject at all levels of education, asking 6 questions throughout the session:

  1. What are your favourite historical resources? (opportunities to provide examples) – 8.01 pm
  2. What do you find is the most difficult topic to teach and how did (or do) you overcome this? (can provide examples) – 8.11 pm
  3. How do you make History creative inside and outside of the classroom?  – 8.21 pm
  4. How do you effectively differentiate a difficult task/topic? eg. source analysis – 8.31 pm
  5. What opportunities does your school provide for extra curricular activities linked to history? – 8.41 pm
  6. Can we make a historical resource- 3 minutes to stimulate your class in a history lesson, what would you do? – 8.51 pm
