Session 256: Free Apps in Schools

Thursday 11th June 2015

-With many schools implementing the introduction of tablet computing within schools, many teachers are left to find innovative ways to help engage children with their learning using the technological innovations at their hands. The problem can be finding applications which are freely available, to help save withering budgets. Many teachers buy apps from their own funds, but how effective are freely available apps, and what are the advantages and uses in doing so?

For #UKEdChat tonight, @DigitalMaverick will host a session focusing on Free Apps in Schools, with the session focussing on the following themes:

1. Google Vs Apple & Microsoft

2. How do you use Google Apps in your institution?

3. Best Apps to integrate with Google

Other questions will also be released, and an opportunity for you to share how you manage the applications on tablets within your setting.

Join the chat from 8pm via the #ukedchat hashtag on Twitter.
