As the Head of eLearning at Blackburn College, Deb Millar is working to create a Cultureshift for embedding technology in staff and student practice. Her ambition is not limited to local as Blackburn College believe that ‘their new local… is Global’.

Working on an international platform using Twitter and GoogleDocs, Deb has initiated a collaborative movement which is growing in momentum with each wheel created and as a consequence creating richer resources.

Learning Wheels are a simple graphic device to help bridge the gap between traditional teaching methods and contemporary digital learning content and resources. They guide staff through digital technologies by linking platforms, apps and web content to learning delivery.

The wheels help others to gain knowledge and competency, from building confidence and understanding around digital technologies through to the application of technologies within their own curriculum areas.
