Key stage 1 (KS1) exemplification material to support teacher assessment (TA) of each pupil at the end of KS1 in 2016. This guidance should be used with the 2016 interim TA frameworks.
It should be used by:
- teachers to make accurate and robust TA judgements
- local authorities when training schools and moderators
The exemplification shows examples of pupils’ work at the standards detailed in the interim TA frameworks. There are annotated and unannotated versions available to aid training. The interim TA frameworks are for 2015 to 2016 only. The Department for Education is evaluating options for future years.
