Ordnance Survey Publish Map of Mars

Mapping the Martian landscape

At the time of writing during half term, thousands of people will be heading off with the help of their Ordnance Survey maps, but this latest release by the OS will be little use for getting away for the weekend.

The OS have published two stunning, downloadable, creative commons maps of Mars here and here. Each maps show the relief of the surface and the names of the features. Use them in your science class to help your pupils imagine the Martian landscape.
