PBL – A Scheme of Work for RE by @MrMcKavanaghRE

Project Based Learning with Religious Education

Annoyingly this will be a double post, as it should also go in the SoW page, so don’t get your hopes up that I had two pieces of content going up.

If you didn’t get the memo that I’m now obsessed with PBL then I’m not sure where you have been, I like it so much that I want you to give it a go, so here is a SoW explaining what I did with my Y7s last term.

This is a re-blog post originally posted by Sam McKavanagh and published with kind permission.

I’ve tried to make this as pick-up and use as possible, but it is important that you make it your own, the more you invest in this, the more the pupils will.

Some of the stuff you might not agree with, which is great, some of the stuff you might want to change, which is even better. This isn’t a perfect product, I’m already figuring out how I’m going to make it better for next time.

At the bottom of the page are the two download links, one for the SoW, the other for the sheets the pupils will need.

Love it, or hate it, let me know @MrMcKavanaghRE
