PosCompulsory Education and Training at Northumbricontinues to embrace these new technologies and havcarried out some interesting research into the uses of ouchosen technologies. Investigation has been undertaken with regard to providing a more strategic approach tonline learning, teaching and assessment.

These new technologies allow informationcommunication, social interaction and learninopportunities to be created, developed and implementemuch more easily than previous technical architecture.

Technology is transforming the way people do businessaccess information and connect with each other. It harevolutionised the way we are entertained and altered the way we learn by providing an opportunity towards much more personalised learning approach. Technologis no longer simply something for the consumption of information, it is predominantly used for the creation of it.
