Once a week I create a whole class introduction on PowerPoint that will be interrupted by superhero GIFs.
Just type what you’re looking for into google followed by ‘gif’ and your presentations will never be the same again. You’ll be amazed at the hilarious things the wonderful internet has dreamt up! I’ve had Batman flying through similes and Spider-Man dancing across bar graphs to name a few.
It takes 10 minutes to prepare and the children are always engaged when sitting on the carpet. Waiting to see if a ‘cheeky’ superhero will appear, they’re focused on the board and what I’m saying. Most importantly, they’re enjoying themselves.
I should add that I’ve nailed acting surprised, I’m expecting the nod for an Oscar soon!
