Become a UKEd Champion

Building on the success of the popular UKEdChat sessions, supported by the UKEd Magazine and the UKEdChat website, we are today pleased to announce a new initiative that encourages teachers and school leaders globally to become part of the UKEdChat journey.

Concentrated on Continuing Professional Development, the programme helps you develop as a professional and earn badges to celebrate your success, ultimately working towards the top status level.

To start, simply create an account on this website, simply visiting the sign-up page here, and then see details of the programme on the dedicated page here.

May work best on desktop (non-mobile) version of website.

Speaking about the programme, Martin Burrett (UKEd Magazine editor) said: “The idea of the Champions programme is to celebrate everything to do with teaching and learning. The programme encourages practicing teachers to write blogs and articles which reflect on and share what you do in the classroom, and then progress on to conduct academic research into an education topic, publish your work and present to your teaching peers.”

Once signed up, you will receive your first badge of recognition, which can be placed on your website or blog, or showcased in your professional portfolio, providing evidence of your ongoing professional development.

Martin continued: “This programme is open to teachers and school leaders worldwide, as the focus is on quality pedagogy, teaching and learning. We welcome enquiries from schools, districts and authorities around the world who want to follow a respected programme that supports professional development”.

Enquiries can be directed to champions@ukedchat.com
