As part of our International Media Partnership with the Moscow Global Forum “City for Education” 2019, we are delighted to bring you features, highlights and updates from the event. The following article has been provided by the organisers, offering a taste of what is on offer in 2019.

Since education is a process that involves all residents and institutions of the capital, the theme of the 2019 Forum is ‘The City that Teaches and Learns’. For four days the VDNKh pavilion No. 75 will be turned into one big school, presenting its guests with a wide variety of educational opportunities available in the capital. Visitors will learn how cutting-edge technologies are implemented in Moscow schools, test the latest equipment and get the most relevant information on innovative educational trends. The Forum will feature about 1,000 leading Russian and international experts from more than 50 countries. At the exhibition, over 80 companies will showcase how they contribute to the development of the innovative educational community.

In 2019, the Forum has become more international as a partnership agreement with AQDAR World Summit was signed. This year the UAE became a city-partner of the Forum.

The 2019 “City for Education” will be a unique space where everyone will find topics and formats to their liking, as the Forum will simultaneously host numerous events of its business, educational and entertainment agenda.

The business agenda includes international conferences, discussions, seminars, debates, pitch sessions and workshops. The Moscow education system professionals and experts will take part in strategic sessions together with their colleagues from around the globe. These sessions will be primarily focused on examining key mechanisms of a city as an ecosystem capable of uniting all cities in the world through education. The experts will discuss recent developments in the industry at a number of events such as Congress of Moscow Teachers, City Pedagogical Council, etc. A large number of participants will be gathered at important business events such as

This year, the extensive Forum’s agenda is designed for a wide range of visitors. A special programme has also been prepared for parents. Apart from the opportunity to get acquainted with the Moscow educational projects and witness the educational process in action, parents will be able to ask questions, share their opinions and make suggestions at the meetings with headmasters of Moscow schools.

The activities at the stands will be as abundant as at the Forum’s business agenda events, as is the tradition. The exhibition will feature key Moscow educational projects such as

•Moscow Electronic School
