Following the success of our previous online conference, and in line with the frustrations around the COVID-19 virus, we are pleased to announce that we have moved our plans for the 2020 UKEdChat Online Conference forward to June 2020.

The conference has proven a great platform for continuous professional development (CPD) and we are lining up some great video presentations based on: pedagogy, classroom management strategies, practical learning, assessments, improving subject knowledge and so on.

We now invite applications for speakers to take part in the conference. We only ask that you create a video presentation for (up to) 20 minutes on a subject that you are passionate about and want to share to an engaged audience. We can provide you with recording assistance, but the deadline for videos is SUNDAY 10TH MAY 2020. Please click the button below to express your interest. We are particularly interested in speakers who are current classroom teachers, school leaders or work in the education sector improving teaching and learning in schools globally. You do not have to be based in the UK, and we invite English-speaking presenters from any country to tell your story and share great classroom practice.

Aside, we invite teachers, school leaders and other people interested in education to create one-minute quick-tip videos that will also be shared during the conference dates.

We will open the international conference to teachers, school leaders and any interested in education with broadcasts going live from 9-11 June 2020. Catch-up opportunities will be made available after the conference has concluded.
