  5. @ukedchat So many issues, both macro systemic and micro problems within the school. Funding and culture are at the root. #UKEdChat

  13. @ukedchat @maximjkelly Professions that attract people who work for their passion generally have poor pay and bad working conditions because employers know they can exploit these people. Both are solved with the same solution. #ukedchat

  25. @UKEdMedia #UKEdChat A4 an interesting question as it is the first. Anniversary of my in schoolnbreakdown that led to my resignation and unplanned departure from the profession.

  29. @UKEdMedia A4. Depends on the circumstances. I was supported to try somewhere else before leaving for good. Best decision. But for some it's more deep rooted and staying even if they move school just shouldn't be an option. #ukedchat

  31. @UKEdMedia A2. No longer want to leave thanks to a great workplace. But before it was workload, lack of support, SLT not listening and refusing to accept there was a wellbeing issue across the school. More work being added despite concerns being raised...... #ukedchat P.S glad i moved!

  36. @ukedchat A1 given more PPA time. Time to share and develop resources and good practice in subject teams. Especially with new GCSEs and A levels at the minute
  37. A7 sometimes little things mean a lot. Like appreciating what teachers do. But still think there should be things like paid sabbaticals for after say ten years to go and do whatever for a year. When I'm in charge I’m going to make it happen! #ukedchat
